Roses on the Row - Gold Tracks
To make this rose I started with an ink drawing, this drawing aimed to combine the Britishness of Savile Row (the rose) with the beautiful cars on display at the concours (the tyre track pattern). Each petal began as wire that I bent into shape and couched onto silk organza. Some petals have needle painting in cotton threads and some have a satin stitch tyre track pattern.
